About this game
Hex Hamlet is a village-building strategy game set on wooded hexagonal islands. Turn a settlers' camp into a larger settlement by gathering resources, hiring villagers and placing buildings beside compatible neighbors. Merchant orders, hidden relics and a ship-building goal give each island more to do than simply clearing trees. Different islands introduce conditions such as winter, storms or volcanic activity. Complete the island's three objectives for stars, with Expert variants and a shared Island of the Week offering further challenges.
How to play
Move the pointer over the forest edge to chop trees without clicking, or tap a tree on mobile. Hire workers at the town hall and spend wood, food, stone and gold through the building cards. Check neighboring buildings for placement bonuses and click a structure to upgrade it. Drag to move the camera, right-drag or press Q/E to turn, and zoom with the wheel or two fingers. Clear the trees, finish the beach ship and sail onward.
