About this game
Idle Game Dev Simulator puts you in charge of a game studio that starts in a garage. New releases combine a genre, theme and platform, while reviews and ratings provide feedback on what you create. Growing the studio brings hiring, research, improved offices and production upgrades into the same progression. Automation becomes part of developing the business, so the decisions expand from choosing a single game's concept to improving the studio that makes it.
How to play
Select the center of the room to open the action menu and begin a development project. Try different genre, theme and platform combinations, then examine the response to each release before planning another. Use the Research tab to unlock additional content and the panel on the right to buy efficiency or production upgrades. Expand the team and workspace as the available options grow, keeping the next release and the studio's longer-term development in view.
