About this game
Yatzy combines five dice with a score sheet that rewards different combinations. Across 13 rounds, you try to build the highest total by assigning each result to one unused category. Upper-section categories cover individual die values from ones through sixes; other spaces reward patterns such as a Full House, a Straight, or five matching dice for Yatzy. The choice of where to record a roll is as important as deciding what to reroll. A useful combination today may compete with a category you hoped to save for later.
How to play
Roll the five dice, keep any dice you want to preserve, and reroll the others. You can roll up to three times during a round. Compare the final result with the categories still available and record it in one of them. Each category can be used only once. Repeat for all 13 rounds, checking the remaining score-sheet spaces before deciding which combinations to pursue.
